A woman who spent 8 years training to be a nun had one of the more dramatic career changes imaginable when she decided to become a porn star.
Yudi Pineda attended a convent school in Ituango in northwest Colombia from the age of 10 and was on her way to becoming a nun when she had a change of heart.
Having become devoted to the nuns that taught her and being a fervent christian, Yudi was convinced becoming a nun was her destiny. But when she turned 18 she fell in love with her teacher of religion and rather than struggle against her feelings and live a lie, she decided to quit the church.
She began working in Nestle in Medellin instead, but her good lucks and stunning figure didn’t go unnoticed for long. She casually met Juan Bustos who ran a porn company and who proposed she attend a casting call. She was hired pretty much as soon as she showed up!
Speaking to local Colombian media, Yudi says that despite her career change, her religious faith has remained just as strong. “At first I was feeling bad,” she says. “But now I am fine with it. I also feel good when I go to church. I never miss Friday prayers, Saturday meetings or Sunday mass.”
At the time of her decision her religion teacher had tried to persuade her not to get involved in the industry!
But Yudi ignored this advice and defends her profession saying there is nothing either immoral or offensive in what she does but that it’s “decent and artistic.” Yudi also admits that she enjoys watching porn and masturbating in her own time even when she’s not performing.
It’s a good thing she gave up being a nun, as that probably wouldn’t have gone down too well in the convent!
